l’Associazione nazionale ex deportati politici nei campi nazisti, che mi ha invitato a un convegno su Il dovere di testimoniare,[1] mi ha appena comunicato di avermi riservato una stanza presso l’Hotel Concord (via Lagrange 67, tel.: 557 67 56).

Arriverò a Torino il 27 ottobre (probabilmente verso sera) e mi fermerò fino al 30 ottobre, mentre il convegno si terrà il 28 e il 29 ottobre.

Ti scrivo perché mi farebbe molto piacere approfittare finalmente dell’occasione per parlare di nuovo con te.

I have just received a message from the National Association of Former Political Deportees to Nazi Camps, which has invited me to a congress on “The Duty to Bear Witness,”[1]  informing me that they have reserved a room for me at Hotel Concord (via Lagrange 67, Tel.: 557 67 56).

I’m coming to Turin on October 27 (probably toward evening) and staying until October 30. The congress will be held on October 28 and 29.

I’m writing this because I would of course take great joy in finally being able to speak to you again on this occasion.

Eben erhielt ich von der „Associazione nazionale ex deportati politici nei campi nazisti“, die mich zu einem Kongress über Il dovere di testimoniare eingeladen hat,[1] die Mitteilung, dass sie für mich im Hotel Concord (via Lagrange 67, Tel.: 557 67 56) ein Zimmer reserviert haben.

Ich komme an 27. 10. (wohl gegen Abend) nach Torino und bleibe bis 30. 10. Der Kongress wird an den Tagen 28. und 29. Oktober abgehalten.

Ich schreibe das, weil ich mich natürlich sehr freuen würde, Dich bei dieser Gelegenheit endlich wieder sprechen zu können.
